Smartys After School club
The After School Club based in the Infant school hall, is run when school time ends until 5.45pm each day during term time. Playworkers collect the Infant children from their classrooms and the Junior children come to the club at the end of their school day. A register is taken and during the session a healthy snack is provided.
Playworkers set up a variety of activities to meet the needs and interests of all the children and they are encouraged to take part in creative activities such as arts and crafts, cooking and drama. Active play is offered every day as well as imaginative play, board games and a quiet area for reading or homework.
All our staff are DBS checked and most are qualified in Paediatric First Aid. We operate a 1:8 ratio and Smartys is Ofsted registered.
A registration form must be completed for each child before a child attends. We do have a waiting list for places at the After School Club and your childs name will be placed on the list and you will be notified as soon as a place becomes available.
