As part of our wrap around care we provide a Breakfast Club before school at a cost of £3.50 per day (for children in reception, Year One and Year Two) or £4.00 (for children in Nursery). This provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere in which the children may enjoy a shared, relaxed, sociable breakfast; consisting of a choice of healthy cereals, toast, tea, fruit juice and water. Making us aware of any difficulties your child may have with eating is helpful. 

After eating, children are encouraged to explore the activities before the beginning of the school day, such as toys, games, puzzles and books. Children may complete homework if they wish to, but no adult help or supervision with homework can be given.

The children will be supervised until the start of the school day, as follows:
a. Juniors – will be escorted onto the playground from 8.40am where there is a
member of staff on duty
b. Reception, Year One and Year Two – will be escorted to their classrooms at 8.45am

c. Nursery - will be delivered by parents to the Nursery building and remain there until the beginning of the school day

Payment
The cost per day must be paid each month in advance.
No refunds will be made for late arrivals or non-attendance including sickness.
 

Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am until the beginning of the school day. 

• Parents and children will not be admitted to the Club until 7.45am.
• Children must be at the club by 8.30am (8:15 am for Nursery children) to receive a breakfast.
• The club is located in the Junior School Hall (for Reception, Year One and Year Two) or Nursery (for Nursery children). Access to the club is through the Junior School front doors.
• All children must be signed into the breakfast club and handed over to a member of staff – the school does not operate a “drop and go” system.
• Application forms should be returned to breakfastclub@fieldendjuniors.org.uk (for Reception, Year One and Year Two) or office@fieldendinfants.co.uk (for Nursery).  

Admissions
The criteria for admissions will be on the following basis
1st  - Children requiring 5 mornings per week
2nd - Children requiring 4 mornings per week
3rd - Children requiring 3 mornings per week
4th - Children requiring 2 mornings per week
5th - Children requiring 1 mornings per week
Should there be a situation where place has become available and 2 children on the waiting list are eligible, siblings will be prioritised.
