Learning at Home
Once a fortnight, we will send you a question or topic to discuss with your child. The idea is that you help your child think through ideas at home relating to the question. In school, the class teacher will set aside time to discuss the question/ topic in class. There is no right or wrong answer to the questions; they will always be open-ended questions. Having discussions or debates in class will help broaden your child’s thinking, build confidence and improve their listening and speaking skills.
If English isn’t your home language then please do hold these discussions in your home language to enrich your child’s thinking and understanding.
This fortnight's question:
What if there was no rain?
